Welcome to Headrest

Founded in 1971, Headrest is a non-profit organization with a mission to assist those affected by substance use disorder, experiencing a crisis, or in need of support by providing effective programs and treatments. We also offer support to the family members, friends, neighbors and employers of our clients.

HEADREST NEEDS YOUR HELP

Since 1971, we have helped thousands of those in need – whether experiencing a crisis or substance use disorder issues. We have provided our services through the kindness of our donors and volunteers. Please consider a donation to help Headrest sustain our mission.

MEET OUR TEAM

Helmed by Executive Director Judi Caprio, Headrest’s team of administrators, counselors, and support staff allow our organization to help tens of thousands in NH and VT each year.

Headrest offers outpatient substance abuse counseling. Both group and individual treatment modalities are used, including Outpatient (OP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Programs.

Headrest offers those who are returning to the community from substance use treatment a safe and sober environment in which to rebuild their lives.

Recovery Friendly Workplace Employee Assistance Resource (EAR) Program

Headrest’s EAR Program, in partnership with Recovery Friendly Workplace, provides your employees and their loved ones with regular access to a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), either onsite at the workplace or remotely.
